A lot of you will have grown up having Lupset 'otel a big part of your life so we were all devastated to see it all boarded up and falling into rack & ruin!

in 2021 after leaving my family pub (Fox & Hounds Newmillerdam) when my family decided to sell up and retire I joined forces with Mustard Pubs to renovate & reopen the pub in the hope of restoring it to its former glory

In June 2024 I parted ways and took the HUGE step of buying the place myself and since then myself and the team are dedicated to making The Lupset THE place to be in the community

We have brought the Wolf back, just in case you don't know the story - Legend has it the pub was named after an event when it was built in 1921 - apparently they had to rehome a family of wolves in order to build the pub - Lup (Lupin - Latin for Wolf & Set another word for family)

We have a lot of odd happenings in the pub, especially in the cellar and in the attic late at night, customers have even see apparitions 

We are a very welcoming place, I don't like cliques or that feeling of being an intruder when you walk into a pub so we make an effort to welcome everyone whether you're walking in alone or as a group and go that extra mile with friendship lunches, mental health group meetings, AgeUK meetings, tonnes of kids events, live music every week at least once, Open Mic every other Thursday, quiz nights, karaoke nights, our own onsite Victorian Sweet shop and so many other things
